Distributed Load Flow using Partitioning and Equivalencing of Power Networks

چکیده
This paper presents a distributed load flow that can be implemented in decentralized control centres. This becomes essential for power system having geographically separated areas. The system is partitioned into two areas balancing the number of nodes in each area. This is done to balance the computational load on the system in each control center. The Boundary buses are treated as load buses and the generator buses in the internal and the external system respectively. Simulation is done on IEEE Standard 14 Bus and 30 Bus Systems simulation and comparison is done between the base case and the reduced load flow results.
